1904 Cart Prize: Herbert Walter Wareing - 2 Pieces

This submission comprises two pieces for Violin and Piano: a Spanish Shepherd Song and a Spanish Dance. Composed by Herbert Walter Wareing, Mus Doc (Cantab), (1857-1918), an organist and composer. It was awarded a 1904 Henry Cart Prize of £12. The front cover of the published score is shown right, but the Autograph Manuscript is still held by the Company and is shown below.
