These Awards are supported by the Musicians' Company Fund which was until 2013 known as the Allcard Fund. This was originally established in 1970, endowed by Deputy Victor Allcard CC (Master 1929-1930 and again briefly in 1949 following the death of the then Master Sir Stanley Marchant).
It is the largest of the Company's charitable funds. It is applied not only in meeting general appeals of a musical nature, but also in providing a limited number of individual grants for post-graduate study. The purchase of Sir Jack Westrup's collection of books (upon his death) was also achieved from the Allcard Fund (Click Here for further information).
