    Honorary Freedom - HRH The Duke of Kent

    On 9th July 1935 His Royal Highness Prince George, Duke of Kent (1902-1942) was presented with the Honorary Freedom of the Company during a Ceremony at Stationers' Hall.

    The Duke was killed in a plane crash over Iceland in 1942. His widow, HRH Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent, was made an Honorary Freeman on 12th October 1943.
