    The Musicians' Company Archive Project
    The Henry Willis Medal

Established in 1993 to mark the Willis family's contribution to the Company (Henry Willis 3: Master 1961-1962 and Henry Willis 4: 1991-1992) and the organ building profession; an organist was expected to be nominated annually by the Royal College of Organists.

However, as far as can be ascertained, the only ever winner of the Henry Willis Medal for Organ Pipe Voicing was John-Paul Buzard in 2008.

Shown left is the Silver label badge awarded to recipients of this award - a miniature organ pipe, which does indeed produce a tune when blown.
