Shown left and below is a bound volume or notebook containing the research of Mr John Lynn Boston of Lincoln College, Oxford, in 1952 into the Minstrels and Musicians that were identified in 12 Parish Registers within the City of London. The Parishes were: St Giles, Cripplegate; All Hallows, Honey Lane; St Olave, Hart Street; St Peter's, Cornhill; St Dionis, Backchurch; St Mary, Aldermary; Christ Church, Newgate Street; St Helen's, Bishopsgate; St Peter, Paul's Wharf; St Stephen, Walbrook; St Michael, Bassishaw; and St Katherine by the Tower.
