On 10th July 1928 at Carpenters' Hall, the Company held a Commemoration Banquet in memory of Franz Schubert (1797-1828). Guests included the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress. All music performances were composed by Schubert and they included 3 movements from the Octet together with several songs.
The Company holds the Programme created for the evening and this along with associated correspondence before and after the event and a number of press cuttings are contained within a bound folder (shown left).
