    Letters from Sir Arthur Sullivan

Shown below are two letters from the celebrated composer Sir Arthur Sullivan (13 May 1842 to 22nd November 1900). They are both written to Pastmaster John Henry Iles. The first requests information and advice on the instrumental forces needed for a certain brass band composition and the second is a thank you note following the reply sent by Iles (which we do not have).
