The Guildhall Library contains a number of bound volumes, together with some individual pamphlets, detailing names and other information regarding the Company Membership. This information extends back to 1563 and is presented here up to 1935 - internal images of the books, binders and pages can be accessed from below:

Shown left is a bound volume containing an alphabetical list of Freemen, giving addresses and occupations and in some cases dates of admission to the Livery and offices served. The dates range from 1743 to 1769.
Also included in this item is a chronological list of Apprentices with names of Masters from 1740 to 1764.

This is a fairly modern, light brown binding that contains 6 original handwritten pages showing the membership and their approximate addresses as of 1759.

Shown left are 6 individually bound booklets containing an alphabetic list of the Livery at particular points in time, namely 1783; 1794; 1805; 1810; 1825; and 1830.
Each page from each book is provided - click on the year button below. Clearly there will be some repetition of pages within these books, but all have been included for clarity and completeness.
