    The Musicians' Company Archive Project
    The Percival-Hart Fund

Established in 1959 and endowed by Miss Ethel Mary Percival-Hart in memory of her father for the encouragement of singing. Manchester and Sheffield are especially mentioned and for many years one of the regular recipients of a grant has been the Manchester Mid-Day Concerts Society in order to stage its recitals for young musicians.

The Fund is administered by the Donations and Awards Committee for discretionary awards; it doesn't provide prizes as such, just funding for occasional appeals.

    Recent Funding Includes:

February 1995 - Clonter Opera & National Opera Studio

January 1997 - Clonter Opera & Live Music Now & National Opera Studio

March 1998 - Clonter Opera & National Opera Studio

March 1999 - National Opera Studio

    July 1999 - Clonter Opera

October 1999 - Manchester Midday Concerts
