The David Goldman Award

Established in 2010, this award is provided from the legacy of David Goldman who died in 1999. Preserve Harmony Issue 42 has an introductory article on the man and his business.

The Musicians' Company Archive Project

Alongside the above Company Award, the David Goldman Programme was established and is endowed by his family in memory of him and in recognition of his enthusiasm for music, the North of England and development of the region's young people.

 

The aim of the Programme is to support Sage Gateshead's Young Musicians Programme in creating structured progression routes for learning and high calibre performing opportunities for the talented and committed young musicians of the North of England, regardless of their individual economic circumstances.
