    The Musicians' Company Archive Project
    The John Henry Iles Medal

    Established in 1947 by John Henry Iles (Master 1932-1933 and founder of the National Brass Band Championships in 1900) from part of a larger fund donated earlier, this medal is awarded annually in recognition of a significant contribution to the brass band movement.
